Collaborative working
At EPfirst, collaboration takes place daily where members of an inclusive learning community work together as equals to assist students to succeed in the classroom. This is usually informed through consultation between the Educational Psychologist and school and can take the form of planning, assessment or discussion with a specific child in mind or a group or class.
Staff at EPfirst believe the foundation of successful collaboration is based on the following:
At EPfirst we provide a level of consistency and dependability that our schools value and appreciate. We make a commitment to our schools, parents and the pupils we work with. We deliver in all cases which fall within our ethical principles.
Care and Respect
At EPfirst we treat others e.g. parents, children or fellow professionals, with the upmost respect and dignity. We pride ourselves on being courteous, thoughtful, empathetic and understanding in order to ensure those we work with feel safe, motivated and understood.
All staff at EPfirst have the skills, knowledge and/or abilities that enable good performance in each particular role. Professional supervision and regular CPD & training opportunities enable us to continually develop our competencies and achieve measurable success in our work.
